Firemen were called Sunday about three o'clock to a car fire on Main Street Georgetown. The blaze was extinguished with no damage reported. Limehouse Funeral for Albert Mere dith Draws Wide Attendance
The funeral of Albert Meredith of Limehouse, who died at home, was held Saturday with Rev. G I Stephenson and Rev. H Caldwell officiating. Interment followed in Limehouse Cemetery. Born in Limehouse, he lived there all his life and died in his 66th year after ten days of illness. Community sympathy extended to the bereaved, with large floral tributes. Anniversary services at the Presbyterian Church drew strong crowds, Rev H L Benhie spoke, and a choir from Acton performed. A rain-delayed garden party and church program were rescheduled. A local ball game with Acton occurred. both sides enjoyed the evening.
