The Wo man’s Missionary Society met at Mrs M Burns home with President Mrs E J Caldwell presiding. The group will lead the morning service on Sunday June 20 with Mrs Caldwell as speaker. Mrs Cleave reported 30 calls and 10 hospital visits in four months. Mrs J Moore described a base shipment to Milton for repacking. Mrs L Pickering gave Christian stewardship and finance notes and Mrs B Mowat led the study book. Lunch and social time followed. thanks were given to Mrs Burns for hosting.

Winter Reunion Draws Attendees to Acton Home
The Winter reunion was held at Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Rutledge home on Sunday June 13 with many guests from Ontario and the United States. Erin farm welcomes a fawn to the Hindleys yard
Mr and Mrs Dan Hindley of Lot 9 Third Line Erin adopted a fawn found in the bush. The young deer, cared for by Mrs Hindley, now roams the yard and uses a yard pen built for its shelter. The fawn drinks from the barrel and a rough watch costs about a dollar per pint.

A Tuesday morning crash at the Acton intersection left Alex Rosa Esquesing with head and eye injuries and Mrs. Lamb Campbellville with a fractured right shoulder and head injuries.
