Wessenger Captured Again Near Bowmanville Farm
Russell Weseinger, a 21 year old fugitive from Guelph Reformatory, was captured Saturday afternoon two miles northeast of Ponty sis ete while asleep in an outbuilding. He was about to depart in a stolen maroon sedan owned by E Copeland of Toronto. Police from Bowmanville acted on information from Peterboro and arrested him as he prepared to leave.

Legionnaires from Acton and 13 branches gathered in Mimico for the Anna Church Parade. Over three hundred veterans led by Toronto cadets and Salvation Army bands marched from the Legion clubhouse to the High School grounds for a drum head service.
