Motor Crash Near Cooksville Injures Acton Staff
Misa Pearl Wallace and Newton Hurst of Acton were shaken in a collision at a Cooksville intersection while driving to Toronto. Frederick I Stephens of Oshawa failed to notice a traffic light, striking Wallace’s car. Hurst suffered head and arm injuries, Wallace knee and arm injuries. Stephens faced reckless driving charges with a $10 fine plus costs. Both Wallace and Hurst are recovering as Acton Machine Co. staff.

Accident West of Acton Injures Torontonian Woman
A car on the Guelph Rockwood highway went out of control Sunday afternoon and overturned in a ditch injuring Rosina Wadson 76 Marchmont Road Toronto. She received medical care at Guelph St Joseph’s Hospital and was discharged an hour later. Passenger Mrs Florence How 6717 St Clair Ave New Toronto was uninjured. Driver Mr Howes escaped unscathed. Arthur Hudson husband of Wadson had a minor scalp wound but no treatment.

A life change on Min Street reports Mr and Mrs Thomas Watson selling Watson's Bakery after twelve years of operation to Mr Francis Wilds who assumed control on Tuesday. Watson adds twenty five years in Grand Valley and will stay in Acton at the Yarber estate residence with many years of leisure.
