Orange Lodge Members Parade at Woodstock

The Crewsons Corners hall is now the Order centre here and last Thursday six members of the Loyal Orange Lodge, the Ladies Association, and others joined the Woodstock parade. The Ladies Association is the province’s youngest branch, praised for their appearance in the parade.

A British alloy specialist firm produced 172 million feet of aircraft tubing during the war for expansion of the RAF. Two firms were asked to focus on such tubes, with 7 million tubes supplied for aircraft and 100 first class warships and many smaller ships receiving the vital equipment. The Navy and Merchant Service also used aluminium brass Yorcalbro tubes for anti freezing measures on ships requisitioned to Russia.
