Lightning Bolt Splits Tree At Mr S Perrys Lawn
During a severe electrical storm yesterday afternoon a spruce on the lawn of Mr. S Perry Agnes Street was struck by lightning and splintered from top to bottom. The tree stood about forty feet and was the tallest among a small group. The bolt split one side and its path led to the root where it damaged the house and shattered front glass.
