Nassagaweye plans new or renovated township offices
Nassagaweye Township Council weighs costs for a new municipal office on Guelph Line at about 346 200 and for renovating the 1950s S S No 3 school into office space at 24 400 with furnishings. An architect from Campbellville priced a 4 by 78 foot single story building at 49 900 plus 4 400 in furnishings. Consultants Proctor and Redfern estimate 20 000 to refit the former school with total around 24 400 including furnishings. The centennial project idea grew from a township committee and petitioners. a formal centennial group will be formed with council and boards represented. An open hearing is planned next Monday night.
