The Acton Bree Press outlines advertising rules for cancellations and error liability. It notes that most advertisers prefer uninterrupted ads, sets rates by space, and states the paper will not be liable for errors unless the advertiser signs a correction notice. Liability limits equal the cost of the space with the error.
The court jailed Harry Hall for the Crewsons Corners robbery for ten years in the Penitentiary and twelve lashes after stealing thirteen dollars. His Brookville robbery yielded only a tussle and police welcome. The swift justice aims to deter future crime.
