World Day of Prayer events in Campbellville churches
Two services were held on Friday February 20 as women worldwide observed World Day of Prayer. In St Alban’s Anglican church about 70 attended despite bad weather, with Mrs. Ralph E. Price leading and others from Baptist and Presbyterian congregations taking part. The speaker was Mrs. R. G. Baxter of Hamilton. the program featured African themes and participants from Daughters of Knox and youth groups. A separate evening service hosted by the Daughters of Knox included Brownies and Guides with Doroth y Dawkins and Ruth Smith at the piano. A luncheon followed. The Canadian Red Poll Association annual meeting convened in Edmonton with notes on grants, certificates, and election of Wilmott McComb as president and A Roy Coulter as vice-president.

Dublin Court Settles Fines For Speeding and Disturbance
Fines totaling 100 dollars were levied in a Magistrate's court on Friday for speeding. Eight motorists faced charges with costs of 23 dollars. Specific fines included two for failing to produce permits, one for disobeying a stop sign, and several larger penalties for driving infractions. Approve Donation For Flood Relief
