The Acton Women’s Conservative Club held a social and dance at the Legion Hall on Thursday. Mrs. D. H. Lindsay welcomed guests and J. M. McDonald spoke as president of the Halton Liberal Conservative Association. Eight rounds of progressive ouchra with prizes went to Mrs. A. Reesor Mrs. G. Fields Mrs. A. H. Bishop and to men J. McDonald D. Campbell J. Louttit with traveling winners Mrs. Collier and D. Campbell. A lunch was served and new and old-fashioned dances followed.

The Ladies' Aid held a Sunday school room Mystic Tea with a menu quiz and a sixteenth item mystery.
