Acton Brookville Students Win Public Speaking Awards
Grade eight students Carol Patterson of Robert Little School Acton and Rosemary Young of Brookville School won the public speaking honor in the contest for the Inspectorate of Halton 4. A large turnout heard seven speeches at Brookville school. They will represent Acton Milton and Nassagaweya in the county finals. Each winner received a autographed book Home From Far by Jean Little. Presentations were made by Carlo Bryce vice chairman of the Nassagaweya Board.
