Obituary of Robert A Reid a longtime community member
Robert A Reid of Ila burg died last Friday at his daughter's home in Toronto. Born in Nassogawoya township on the Alexander farm, he served in the Battle of Waterloo era and later settled in Canada. He married Mary Ann Erthwitle in 1807, and they had one son and six daughters. He was a Presbyterian elder for forty years and served on Erin Township Council for seventeen years. The funeral was at Huxley Cemetery in Hillabury.
