Baxter's PUC Council Agree To Property Exchange
A special meeting reached an agreement for no transfer of property between Baxter Laboratories of Canada Ltd PUC and the town. Baxter would swap land including a 66 by 200 foot block on Alice Street for the tin PUC building lot and a school creek border strip with all transfer and survey costs shared among Baxter PUC and the town.

Missions Night at Knox YPS Highlights Guest Speaker
Knox YPS held a missions night with Isabel Ritchie in charge and Miss N E Anderson guest speaker on furlough from British Guiana. Anderson spoke on her work and urged more workers. Doug Davidson led business and minutes. The evening featured prayers, hymns, a social lunch, and gratitude to volunteers.

Nassagaweya Seeks Acton Meeting for Rural Fire Protection
Nassagaweya Township Council met February 9 1952 with all members present. They urged Acton town council to arrange a meeting with neighboring municipalities and the Fire Marshalls Department on rural fire protection. A 1952 road and bridge expenditure by law was approved and tenders called for 8000 cubic yards of gravel. General accounts totaling 300 were paid.

Two cars crashed on No 7 highway east of Georgetown at about 7 p m causing total damage estimated at 575 dollars. Donald Smith of Kitchener drove a newly purchased 147 Nash westbound while Clarence Coles of Acton drove a 1939 Oldsmobile eastbound. No injuries reported.
