Truck crashes through guard rail on Maria Street Bridge
A truck driven by Bo Drew of Muton crashed through the Maria Street bridge guard rail Monday afternoon. The vehicle plunged thirty feet to the hallway siding but both driver and machine escaped serious injury. The truck, a nearly new model owned by Milton contractor Canmon, sustained light damage. Chief Harrap investigated the accident.

Dog Freezes Out in Trap on Coldest Night
A red Trish setter belonging to Mr. J. F. Royston spent the coldest day and night of the season outdoors after stepping into a muskrat trap. The dog limped back to town on Tuesday with the trap on its front foot and a broken chain. The man’s freezing state was not yet confirmed, but the animal appeared unharmed otherwise. Monday night temperatures ranged between 20 and 32 below zero in the district. The dog was missed after dinner Monday.

Forgery and Assault Cases Heard in Milton Court
