At the regular meeting the council accepted tenders totaling 89 560 for a 25 580 debenture issue to fund water service improvements. Dominion Securities Ltd bid 92.01 per 100 of par. Yoweat bid 95.25. A pumping station tender of 4 200 for a 16 by 11 foot building with brick walls and steel hoist was accepted pending completion date. Approval was given to issue 227 000 in debentures for a public school addition, with no borrowings authorized yet from Bank of Nova Scotia.

Nossagaweya Township Council met February 5 1951 with full attendance. They passed accounts totaling 147 for payments and 2115.48 for road work, borrowed from Bank of Nova Scotia Campbellville to cover expenses, set roads and bridges expenditures, and agreed with Nassagaweyn Women's Institute to buy chairs. C J VanGooren was named delegate to the Grand Valley Conservation Authority. Pound keeper D Feaser resigned and John Small was appointed. Pay for officials and road employees was increased.

Sixteen members of Limehouse Women's Institute met at Limehouse Memorial Hall on Wednesday. The group planned a library for Limehouse with Misses Winnifred Ivens, Jean Ruddell, and Mrs J Ellerby named to the library board. They donated to the Limehouse Cemetery Board and March of Dimes, discussed a flower and fruit fund, and noted a training school Miss Brown attended in Milton.
