Legion Christmas Tree Night For Wa veterans Children
On Tuesday December 22 the Legion hosted Wa veterans district children for an evening of decorated rooms, a Christmas feast and gifts. The program featured singing by children and parents, solos on harmonica, humorous verse, and a Saintly open with Christmas carols and “God Save the King.” Beanty Claus handed out gifts to out-of-town children as Rev W L Tierney and Fred Wright oversaw arrangements. gifts came from local donors to support needy veterans’ families.
