Christmas Baskets and Toys Distributed by Welfare Board

Fatal Shooting Accident at Rockwood
Howard Kellington aged 21 was accidentally shot in the head while loading food on a sleigh near Rockwood and died at Guelph General Hospital. The shot reportedly came from 17 year old Charles Shullis who hunted with Edwin Watson. An inquest was adjourned after preliminary inquiries at the hospital.

Georgetown Tot Fatally Injured While Sleigh-Riding
A three year old girl, Barbara King, daughter of Willum and Mrs. King of Georgetown, died from a fractured skull after a sleigh collided with a truck driven by Frank Hurd of Orangeville on Murdock Street. The accident occurred yesterday near her home. Dr. J. H. Bateman attended her as she was taken to Guelph Hospital. Police Chief W. G. Marshall investigated the incident.
