Rebuilt Ajax Engineers Plant After Week-Long Fire
The storage building at Ajax Engineers burned last Tuesday afternoon was replaced with a larger sheet metal structure, 10 feet longer, 6 feet higher and 3 feet wider. Production continued during reconstruction under superintendent Wm. Coon. A.P. Green Co. rebuilding in Acton also proceeded rapidly, with a new complete building and equipment in four months after a devastating fire.

Week End Fog and Ice Claims Four Lives and Injuries
A Toronto driver crashed into a hydro pole on Young Street causing pole failure. In Rockwood two youths, John Bacon 17 and Farr Wilfred Trimble 20, burned in a car wreck near Silvercreek. A separate accident near Georgetown left two local men thrown from a car and hospitalized after leaving the road into a four foot ditch.
