The Acton United Church of Canada announces a Christmas schedule with services at 11:00 p.m. The minister will deliver a message titled and of Beginning Again. Sabbath School at 2:30 p.m. features White Gift Service. A Sacred Cantata by the choir Light of the World precedes a Watch Night Service at 11:15 p.m. on December 31.
The minister announces 1100 a m message What Christ Means to Us and 7 00 p m sermon The Kingdom of God in the World. Sabbath School and Bible Classes at 3 00 p m. Monday evening the Gulla with drawn a Christmas Pitontdnmncet and Town Hall on Tuesday evening. Strangers leaving address with the pastors will be called upon by the Pastor.

Special lectures at Acton and Nassagiweya invite all farmers to attend.
Five applicants sought the librarian post at Moorecroft after Miss Lottie Scott’s resignation. The board voted by ballot with Mrs Watson narrowly chosen, her long service weighing. Laura Scott remains as assistant librarian with a small salary increase. Martha Orr submitted a sixth application after the meeting.
