Gloves to 3 000 Stolen Thursday at Storey Glove Co
Thieves broke into the Storey Glove Co plant last Thursday near midnight by climbing a fire escape and entering the shipping room. They stole gloves valued between 2000 and 3000 dollars, left tracks, and ransacked a rear car, but did not crack the heavy cash safe. Night watchman found an open window and alerted the foreman. police are investigating with clothing and gear recovered at the scene.
