Rockwood's History Remember When Kings Highway No 7 Was Carriage Path
A photo from the Don Hills collection shows the Eremoss River crossing on the Kings Highway No 7 when it was a simple carriage track. The old Rockwood mill, run by Him Milne, backs up the river with a year round water power flume feeding the mill machinery. The river now appears wider after the old mill’s influence and the bridge has been replaced by a modern structure.
