Acton Firefighters Misplaced Prize At Ontario Parade
Acton firefighters attended the Firefighters Association of Ontario gala in Milton. A records mix up put them in regulation dress though they competed in fancy dress, placing third behind Dundas and Ajax. Bern Van Fleet and John Krapek represented Acton. about 20 members joined the parade and dance. Milton deputy chief George Bundy was elected president for 1966 47 and the convention will move to Mount Forest next year for a four day event.
