Dr. W. G. C. Kenney, a 1926 medical school graduate, began practice in Acton in 1941 and retires this week due to ill health. He and Mrs. Kenney will move from their Mill St. apartment to a house near Acton. he is currently at Guelph General Hospital. He was named Citizen of the Year in April 1960 for dedication to medicine and humanitarian service.

Trailer Fire Destroys Camp Trailer At Esquesing Work Site
A trailer housing nine men at the WOR Gresites Construction camp near Lot 28 Esquesing burned early Wednesday destroying belongings of four workers Grant McPhail Bart Hicks Carl Newton and Camera Jackson. Firefighters from Acton and Georgetown fought the blaze. propane gas and a truck attached to the trailer were involved with possible explosions. Loss could reach 3900 insured in part. crew had been working in the pit about a month and planned to stay one more week.
