New Acton Y Track Team Places Fourth at Junior Olympiad
The Acton Y track team of 15 placed fourth at the first Junior Olympiad held in Guelph on July 27. Nine teams from Etobicoke Georgetown Erin Guelph and others competed with about 200 participants. Bob Coxe and Bruce Andrews posted top finishes in sprints and jumps, while the relay squad took second. Regular practices occur Mondays and Wednesdays at the park for ages 12 to 20.
