Shiloh Ranch Aims To Be A Summer Camp And Winter Resort
In 1880 Shiloh School packed 90 pupils but by 1953 attendance vanished and the school closed. The vacant Shiloh Post Office still appeared in 1950 guides. Frank Bertagroli, only 13 years in Canada, plans a real estate venture in Toronto and envisions Shilo Ranch as a children s western camp in summer and a ski and horseback paradise in winter. He rents, develops trails for weekend riders, and invites picnickers to the beach this Sunday. Restoration of Shiloh Village buildings in Rockwood and Eramos Township would create a new outdoor center for Gnatasio s historic enthusiasts.
