Old Yard Tilling and Yard Improvement at Local Tannery
A steam shovel and crew with dump trucks have tilled an old yard at the tannery. After the building covering the yard was torn down the yard was filled and leveled. Earth from near the old right of way supplied the material. Roads around the Beardaore plant were improved and a Fordson tractor now hauls wagons formerly pulled by several horse teams.
