Friendly Circle Concert Repeats With Additions
The United Church Friendly Circle repeated their concert at the church last month on Tuesday April 14. Proceeds funded War Savings Stamps. Fire Destroys Church Sheds at Erin Last Week
A large fire of unknown origin destroyed the Burns Presbyterian Church sheds at Erin and an outbuilding owned by Nathan Delman near the church. The loss runs into thousands of dollars. The blaze began early Thursday before dawn and spread quickly before detection. Firefighters and volunteers battled to prevent spread to adjacent structures. The sheds were recently upgraded with new tools and improvements. The Orangeville fire truck arrived too late to stop the flames.
