Rescue of entombed miners in Moose River reaches survivors
Dr D E Robertson was pulled from the Moose River mine at 11.44 p m followed 16 minutes later by Alfred Scadding both alive and in good condition after being entombed since April 12th. Herman Magill died after ten days entombment. Crowds cheered as doctors and miners aided the ascent amid a continent watching the epic rescue.
