Walker Lodge hosts 21 lodges for district meeting and tribute

Wor. Bro. W. J. Duntop opens a crowded gathering at the Walker Lodge hall as 21 lodges attend the big meeting in Wellington District. J.A. Loako is named District Deputy Grand Master. Presentations include a Past Master's Jewel and Brasa Knocker. The event honors Most Wor. Bro. W. J. Duntop and features a royal banquet and speeches on Masonry and citizenship.

Kennedy couple marks golden wedding anniversary

Acton Troop Boy Scouts Hold Night Of Thanks

Thursday event honored long time Scoutmaster George Mason with a framed address a photo album and a Thank You badge. E. Knox WMS Thank Offering Meeting Held At Knox Church

Knox W M S held a Thank Offering meeting in the church case room despite bad weather. Mrs Blow read scripture and led prayer with Mrs Benile. Plans were made to attend the provincial meeting in Toronto April 14 to 16 and the Eden Mills rally in May. Mrs Cooper gave a reading Only Twenty Five Contin Mika Bella Raevetl sang. Mrs Leiteh spoke on Blowers of the Clandén Ged'n Gift to Un and Norway sketches. A winded tribute featured Min Margaret ser ville with an instrumental solo by Min Margaret. Mr Ben Hie offered prayer and afternoon tea and lunch were served.

The Rhomabury Literary Society held its April meeting with members and guests including Dr. Young Mr. Salder Mr. Garbert Mr. Frank and Mrs A Pletcher present.
