The Knoxhurgh Acton Presbyterian Church lists 1100 a m morning sermon The Coming Christ 3 00 p m Sabbath School and Bible Classes 7 00 p m The Minister Outstanding Bible Characters Ruth Monday 8 00 p m Young People's Guild Strangers leaving address with ushers will be called upon by the Pastor.

Officers were elected for the year including President Mrs BR W Craw Fergus and Vice Presidents Mrs R W Graham Guelph and Mrs Wm Graham Guelph. The ceremony included scripture Readings led by Mrs RB SE Large and Mrs Austin Mitchell and an inspirational address by Mrs Forbes of Toronto. The session confirmed the new Presbytery and noted a final devotional session for the uniting church delegates.

The cars sideswapped and wrecked the Ford toppled into a ditch. all occupants escaped serious harm with the Milton party hospitalized for shock and lacerations.

George Robertson of Bolton was fined 50 dollars for unlawfully having liquor. At Brampton Court House Police Magistrate Moore heard four cases including Robert Young of Monor Mills convicted for unlawfully having liquor with a 39.8 percent alcohol content in a bottle misrepresented as lotion. John W. Miller and Reoy Cook faced charges for destroying a racoon den and selling pelts with Cook fined for unlawful rolling. Harold McArthur of Orangeville found guilty of selling whiskey with a 200 dollar fine and one month in jail amid other assorted charges against local farmers and a Georgetown agent of Massey Harris facing misappropriation claims.
