Police prefer 20 charges during April 2 to 8, 1967
Acton OPP detachment patrolled 940 miles and logged hours in the period. Twenty traffic charges were laid and 35 warnings issued. An underage liquor violation was recorded. No accidents were reported. Two thefts and three other occurrences were processed. Mil ton Magistrate's Court convicted 11, including 10 under the Highway Traffic Act and one for disturbing the peace. Total fines and costs reached $188 80.
