Acton Scout Troop marked its twenty fifth anniversary at the Parish Hall with about seventy five attending. Rev Forbes Thomson chaired the toast to the King and Scouting, while Mr F Coles led songs. George Mason urged fathers to spend time with boys and highlighted useful games and outings. A moment of tribute honored Scouts in the King’s service as Cpl Geoff Houston presented badges.
