Maynard Estate Accounting Faces Probate Challenge in Middlesex

Mrs. Jane B Salisbury of Somerville and nine residuary legatees contest the accounting of executor Alfred K Joslin in the Maynard estate dispute. The estate, first valued at 560,527, grew to about 9.0 million under Joslin's administration with substantial fees claimed. Charities and institutions receive large residuary gifts, while objections allege improper distribution and overcharges for services.
