Charge Rulings Were Violated
Maynard. At a meeting of the local Board of Health an inspector of the state board of Plumbers and several local plumbers held here this week the local plumbing regulations were under fire. Plumbers charged that sewerage installations were not according to regulations and that work is being done by men not licensed. Mr Cowles of the Health Board, in his opinion, said the plumbers made a good case and the board will give the matter consideration. He expects an adjustment will be made that will prove satisfactory. Lester Cowles, member of the Board of Health, Fred Holt local inspector of plumbing and Joshua Naylor chairman of the Finance committee were among the officials present.

The Assabet Mill lockout continues with about 1200 workers idle as taxation dominates the week. Despite protests, Maynard is calm with workers orderly and no demonstrations or picketing.
