Grammar School Graduation at Bedford Assembly Hall

Graduation at Lexington High School Honors Spring Event

Miss Margaret Kelley and Miss Frances Whittaker graduated as Lexington High School held a ceremony last Wednesday. The program featured orchestral selections, an invocation by Rev George J L Thurlow, remarks from Lemuel H Marlin president of Boston University, and diploma presentations by Robert J Ryder of the school committee followed by a reception.

Benefit for the Ninth Regiment at Boston Opera House

A group from town attended the benefit for the 9th Regiment held at the Boston Opera House on Thursday. Cardinal O Connell and Col. Logan spoke as the evening's speakers. John McCormack sang several selections. Miss Frances Whitaker hosted a gathering at her Main Street home Saturday evening.
