Field Day Showcases Old Horses at Red Acre Farm Stow

The 12th annual field day at Red Acre Farm Stow featured 60 horses including 25 loaned to nearby farmers plus Remount troopers from Camp Devens performing a cavalry drill and races. Miss Harriet Bird highlighted horse care exhibits, with visitors from Boston Weston Brookline Concord and Dedham.

Floral Sunday Observance At Congregational Church

The Congregational Church announces a floral Sunday with Sunday school department exercises at 7 p.m. next Sunday and a morning service at 10 45 during which children will be christened. Cambridge officer earns Military Cross for daring air actions

Rosal Midstoree of Cambridge formerly Iyoet Hedford has been awarded the Military Cross for repeated successful attacks on German units from low altitude with bombs and machine gun fire. He is recovering in England from a severe gunshot wound suffered April 10 and is the son of Mr and Mrs Maroun of Concord Cambridge.
