Ackley Ordinance Grants W J Stanton Telephony Right of Way
Ackley Iowa town council adopts an ordinance granting W J Stanton the right to lay poles wires and fixtures in streets alleys and highways to supply public telephone service until January 1 127 The measure sets location and maintenance rules limits interference with travel and allows city use of lines for fire alarm and town business while preserving Stanton’s rights and imposing painting and cross arm requirements in business blocks.
