W Maxwell visited Mason City Monday while Rev Schmalle dropped by WaterlooTuesday. Arthur Bush plans a brief visit. Ed Carrey stayed in Webster City Sunday evening. Mr and Mrs R Tool visited Geneva Sunday. Bev t Bush works as a barber in Nashua. Henry Carstens travels to Chicago to visit his brother Jed. George Lamm returns from a business trip to Minneapolis. Mr and Mrs Penfield are guests of Frank P Harold. John Rotzler left Tuesday for a visit with his brother at Cirton Town. Alma Martin returns home from State Normal for summer vacation. Ed Thiel toured Del welh Saturday calling on friends. Mrs James K ig rests after a week with relatives in Dubuque. J H Hurd of Sioux City stayed several days last week. Mr and Mrs H M Andrews visit Webster City Thursday for street fair. Misses Hattie and Helen Aykes of Courtland Nebraska are visiting relatives and friends nearby. John Limburg and family return from northwest Iowa and Minnesota. Miss Mamie Wieland of LeMars visited last week and left for Parkersburn relatives. John and Thomas Morris of New York City arrive for a three month visit with aunt Mrs Chas Pfander. Rube Bolender family from Northwood visiting here big week. Acquaintances are glad to greet them. California visitors Mr and Mrs J. Whiteside stay in town as Beiles from Steamboat Rock arrives on business. Matt Lami travels to Dumont on business while Miss Graves returns from Boone as schools there close. Mrs P D Moeller and children visit A D Frantz’s home. Will Lamm from Vreeport plans a short stay before heading to Sioux Falls. Charles Johnson and family from Lattimer stop at H C Weber’s home en route to Cedar Falls. Mrs John Bolan and Kate Hill visit Crystal Lake to see Frank Kruse family. Genevieve Morrill leaves for Boone to work with the Red Cross lodge. The wedding of Miss Tena Gerdes and Henry Beving is held by Rev Klebenstein. Delia McSwiggin departs for Belmond to reside. She served years in public schools and leaves fond memories.
