Frantz Family Visits from Wisconsin to Old Home Town
The Frantz family from Wisconsin plans a two week stay in their old town to visit relatives and friends. A cheap excursion to Clear Lake on Sunday July 20th via the M and St L railway is advertised. Local figures Hinrichs Ludemann Aikes and Boyenga of Cleves were in town. Rutledge, Iowa Falls telephone exchange manager, was a business visitor. Bert Gruise, cutting his thumb at home, had a large sliver removed with help from Charley Webst. Richard Feist of Iowa Falls, a noted Odd Fellow, has suffered a paralysis stroke and is largely helpless. Albert Abbas, laid up with rheumatism, shows slow improvement. Joseph Huot visited Cedar Falls on Saturday. Pat ONeill returned from Northwood with Dr. Miller’s bay horses, six or seven hundred pounds each, aged six years, a handsome pair the driver praises highly.
