A New Bible Translation Edited by Haupt of Baltimore
A new annotated Old Testament translation edited by Professor Haupt of Baltimore will appear in English and German. It aims for an exact, modern rendering with minimal Hebrew idiom, keeping Masoretic base when possible, and adding notes only for obscure terms and ideas. Books will be published separately, with Leipzig and Baltimore editions forthcoming.
