Death of Nicholas M Steffan at Faulkner Iowa

Nicholas M Steffan 62 died at home in Faulkner Iowa Tuesday afternoon from throat cancer after a Chicago medical visit. Born in Prussia 1836 he settled in Chicago then Freeport before moving to Faulkner to run a store and general merchandise business. Survived by children Charley Edward Arthur Fred Chir a Cecil Violet August Mrs Lenora Belzer Mrs Rost Smith Mrs Ti Vie Houten and Mrs Baim Yaeger. Funeral Thursday at St Marys Catholic church with burial beside wife.
