Monseignor Feuerstein pastor of St. Joseph's church in LeMars died this morning after a stroke two days earlier. He served 16 years here, age 64, born in Württemberg, Germany. A former surgeon in the Franco-Prussian War, he edited a Catholic paper in Chicago in 1908 and later led parishes at Cascade and Dubuque. elevated to monseigneur by the pope about eight years ago, he was a Sioux City diocese dean and a leading church figure.
