Retired Christian minister Rev. J. S. Edwards died yesterday at his daughter's home, aged 80 years, 2 months, 14 days. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Whiteside chapel. Born in England he came to the United States as a child, served mainly in Illinois and Nebraska, and lived retirement for the last decade. He is survived by his wife, one daughter Mrs. C. M. Osborne, and four sons in Tacoma, Colorado Springs, and St. Louis.
