In a slow game the Aberdeen alumni football team defeated the high school squad 3 to 0 on the athletic field. The lone score came in the second quarter from Blackwell on a 20 yard drop kick. Alumni veterans Ira Blackwell Scoovey White Roy Wood Beaumont DeLosch and Tom Wilkinson starred. Coach Hawley’s team prepares to meet the University of Washington in Seattle in two weeks.

Death Toll Rises From Logging Camp Accidents
Ora C. Beaty 30, working as a chaser on the Coats Fordney skid road, died after a flying cable struck him at the woods. Harry Smith was killed instantly at Wilson Bros camp near Oakville when a steel wedge blade tore the jugular vein. Bodies moved to Centralia and awaiting burial instructions.
