Aberdeen And Montesano Digest Of Town Notices

Patterson made a business visit Monday and many residents were seen about town. The paper notes sales, shopping, and local movements including woolen goods, blankets, and garments at Kaufman and Harris & Sons as well as several visits by merchants and residents across Aberdeen. A young couple Kellogg and Hulda Anderson married with a reception, while sports and theater events are reported alongside evolving business and rural–urban traffic and a proposal for a Sunday free boat between Aberdeen and Montesano.

Folding Box Factory Move Sparks Aberdeen Subscriptions

A public meeting backed by committee members and Mr. Fenalson considered sites for a folding box factory. The Jones site would need 2000 cash, Lewis site 3000 with Lewis donating. Jones property cost 1500. The plan favors Lewis, with a July deadline to secure Heermans’ support and block Hoquiam’s bid.
