A mass Chehalis county prohibitionist convention met in Montesano and endorsed three Democrats and two Republicans as a show of preference. Candidates named include O. J. Lawrence for county clerk and J. A. Graham for sheriff, both endorsed, with others for auditor treasurer coroner attorney and commissioners. A central committee was appointed to act.
