Schooner Bangor Crippled In South Bend
The schooner Bangor bound for Grays Harbor was towed into South Bend in a wrecked condition. Masts, life boats, anchors and chains were lost with debris scattered on deck as Daisy Mitchell and the tug Astoria assisted in the harbor approach. The ship was moored at the S. B. M. & T. company dock after being towed upriver.
