Death by self destruction ends Steele's murder case
Herbert Norman alias Ralph W. Steele died by hanging in the Montesano county jail on Saturday between 12:30 and 1:00 pm. The prisoner had planned the act, using blankets torn into rope and a chair, after stating that Frank Todd was murdered and implicating others. The inquest returned a verdict of death by self destruction, and authorities call for full disclosure of all facts in the Todd murder case.
