South Side Road route study shows mixed views
Judge Goss of Melbourne and C W Brower of Cosmopolis surveyed the Melbourne to Cosmopolis road plan along the Chehalis river. Goss favors a ridge route for cheaper build but heavier grades may occur while Cosmopolis backers prefer a river grade. They found the bluff near Melbourne and watercourses require culverts but see no serious obstacles and a one mile detour could yield three miles toward Preacher Slough. The Vidette reports the assessment.

The Aberdeen high school will hold commencement next Friday evening May 30 at the Acme Opera House. Prof Albert H Yoder of the State University Seattle will deliver the address. The program includes diplomas for the Class of 19— and musical numbers by the Aberdeen Musical Club under Prof A Gylfe. The graduating class includes Lucille Horr Henry C Cox and Percy J Perry.
