Ordinances passed April 15 authorize B street improvements with 18 inches sandstone at $500 immediate payment plan and Jefferson avenue sidewalk between Market and First at $150. A 16 foot plank roadway on Oak from Ninemire to Griffin and Griffin to Ash and Ash to Hemlock is approved. Market street improvement taxes due by May 8, with gravelling on Second Street from G to K, 30 feet wide, cost $2,000, due May 6 protests deadline. Delinquent May 22 taxes cover Market, Jefferson, Blaine, M streets, D and F segment, River street H to I. Warrants and bids: warrants called April 23. bids due May 27 for Eighth Street clearing/grading with $50 certified check. various warrants with ceased interest.
